KILLED : KANSAS KENT HOT SAUCE

We had already completed a few successful projects for our client, Spicin Foods, when they asked us to work on a special label for a new novelty sauce that they had created. They wanted us to design a label for their new Kansas Kent hot sauce. Spicin Foods’ sales manager’s name was Kent, and some of their international clients referred to him as “Kansas Kent.” 

The client was only going to produce a small batch of this sauce for select clients, and they wanted the design to be playful and fun. The sauce would be in the same small woozy bottle as their Pain is Good brand, but they wanted the design to be unique and a departure from their existing branding. In the end, the clients decided to pass on this project in order to focus on other product development projects. However, we think these Kansas-inspired labels are too fun not to share.
